New Challenges in Distributed Information Filtering and Retrieval

Submissions

Submissions must be original contributions that neither have been published nor have been under review for publication elsewhere.

Paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 12 pages in the Springer LNCS style (please see http://www.springer.com/authors/book+authors?SGWID=0-154102-12-417900-0, contributed book for details). Submissions will have a peer review by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to the workshop topics, originality, significance, and clarity. At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to attend the workshop and present the paper.
Accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings and will be published on the workshop webpage and as a volume of CEUR Workshop Proceedings.

 

Submitting a paper to the workshop means that, if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the conference to present the paper and should then register to the conference with a workshop fee.

 

Special Issue

All authors will be asked to submit a refined and extended version of their contribution for publication in the series Studies in Computational Intelligence published by Springer Verlag (Series Ed.: Kacprzyk, Janusz, ISSN: 1860-949X).

 

The authors of the paper selected by the organizers as the best one of the workshop will be offered to publish an extended version on Intelligenza Artificiale, the International Journal of AI*IA, published by IOS Press. In the issue presentation by the Editor in Chief it will be acknowledged that the paper was selected as the best paper at the workshop.
