Airlines The most comfortable
way to reach Alghero is via the Alghero-Fertilia
Internationl Airport which is only 12 km away from the town centre.
The Alghero-Fertilia airport is connected to several European airports by many regular and low cost airlines: Ryan Air, Air One, Alpi Eagles. Alternatively, one can fly to Olbia with: Meridiana, Alpi Eagles, Hapag-Lloyd, or to Cagliari with: Alitalia, Meridiana, Alpi Eagles, Hapa-Lloyd, LTU. However, despite of the relatively short distances (Alghero - Olbia: 140 Km; Alghero - Cagliari: 200 Km) connections are not confortable. Trains and buses are not frequent and travelling takes very long times. Thus, our suggestion is to fly directly to Alghero-Fertilia, or to fly to Olbia or Cagliari and take a car. You can consult the following web sites to have more information on how to get to Alghero: For useful information regarding Car rental at the airport of Alghero, please consult the web page Useful Numbers Alghero Airport. |
