Topics: In this talk, a brief introduction into graph and network theory for the modeling of infectious diseases is presented. To this end, important definitions such as cluster coefficient and centrality are introduced. Moreover, a method for modeling infectious diseases, namely the SIS-Model, is presented and the application of these models is demonstrated.
