Topics: The business impact of agile software development (Tuesday):
Case F-Secure, Nokia and Philips The results are presented in terms of development costs, time-to-market impact and quality implications.

Lean Software Development and Trends (Wednesday).
These include such a concepts as flow, Kanban, value, waste, set-based design and others.

The future of lean and agile software development - the next key words! (Thursday).
This lecture takes a forward looking viewpoint, focuses on the characteristics of lean paradigm and attempts to make educated guesses about the future of software. While in the past, these predictions have rarely if ever succeeded, the aim is to provide means for such a reflection. The result can be called - Radical Software Engineering. The talk presents the thinking and rationale for such a viewpoint.
Assessment: 1-hour written examination on the course subjects
